.

Menu Screen - Search Area

On the Available Titles page you have the option to search your eBook collection via keyword or 13-digit ISBN number. This functionality is located on the top center just under the Infobase eBooks logo. Searches conducted from the menu level can be set to search your collection's Full Text (this is the default setting), or the Title Text. These two drop-down options are located directly to the right of the search box. Full Text search results display on a results page that now offers page-level hits on search terms. You can also view a list of all results from a title, by clicking the 'View more results from this book' link. Results can be sorted by Relevance (the default setting) or by Title, using the drop-down boxes displayed in the upper left-hand corner. You can also adjust the number of results and subject areas shown. Results for Title Text searches offer the same sorting options, and also offer a Detailed or List view.

Menu Screen - Advanced Search

Our eBooks Advanced Search option can be accessed  by selecting the 'Advanced Search' link beneath the menu-level search box. Advanced Search provides the ability to query by Search Term, Author, Book Title, or Series Title. Other filtering options include searching by Imprint, Subject, and eBook Publish Date (Before, In, After). To search for a particular 13-digit ISBN, simply enter it, with or without hyphens, in the 'Search your eBooks' search box at the top of all menu screens.

Menu Screen - Subject List

Subjects identify the distinct categories encompassing your eBook collection. This feature is dynamic; as you add/remove titles to your collection, your subject listing will adjust accordingly.

The current main or secondary subject area that you are viewing will be highlighted in black. Subject based navigation is a viable alternative for searching, if you have an idea of what type of book will meet your research need as well as what classification the eBook will most likely be tagged under.

Menu Screen - eBook Browse List

eBook Browse lists show the current category being viewed, eBook cover images, eBook titles, author/editor, appropriate grade level, published date, as well as the publishing imprint. Show results settings are customizable to display up to 25 results per page and can be sorted by Title, Author, Publisher, Published Date, and Date Added by utilizing the drop-down menus directly above the eBooks list. You are presented with a detailed view by default, but can switch to list view by selecting List from the View drop-down. eBooks that are a part of series are denoted with a 'From series' link directly below the eBook title.

For each eBook displayed, you also have the option of clicking the 'Show Details' link for further information, or clicking on the Cover image or book title to access its contents.
